The Moon Villas team warmly welcomes you and is honored by your interest in staying at one of our properties. We kindly ask that you treat the villa with the same care and respect as you would your own home.
Please note that these policies apply to every guest, regardless of the booking platform used — whether you reserve directly with us, through Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia or any other channel. By completing a reservation on any platform, you acknowledge and agree to follow Moon Villas’ standard policies.
Cancellation Policy

Please check the cancellation terms on your booking, as they may differ depending on the rate. By confirming your reservation, you agree to these terms.

Except for force majeure (such as natural disasters, fire, government travel restrictions, or similar events), cancellations, no-shows, or early check-outs are non-refundable.

Early Check-in
Early check-in is subject to availability. Unless confirmed in advance, please do not arrive before the standard check-in time, as there is no reception at the property. -
Luggage Drop-off
You may drop off your luggage before check-in. Please note that there is no waiting area on-site. After dropping off your bags, you can explore the area, and our team will notify you once your villa is ready.

Request in Advance: Late check-out is subject to availability and must be requested at least one day before departure, as it requires us to block the villa for the entire day.

Without Approval: Late check-outs without prior confirmation will incur a fee of IDR 500,000 per hour, or IDR 1,000,000 per hour for Luna Mar Villa.

Relaxed Departure Option: For a stress-free departure, we recommend booking an additional night if you require a late check-out. Alternatively, you are welcome to store your luggage at reception until you are ready to leave.

Room Keys. Guests are required to return all room keys at check-out. Lost or unreturned keys will incur a replacement fee.
Security Deposit

Upon Arrival: A cash-only security deposit of IDR 1,600,000 is required, or IDR 2,000,000 for Luna Mar Villa. Equivalent amounts in foreign currency are also accepted.

Refund: The deposit will be fully refunded in cash at check-out, after a room inspection.

Important: Check-in cannot be completed without this deposit.

No Children or Infants
For the safety and comfort of all guests, children and infants under 13 years old are not permitted to stay at Moon Villas Umalas.
The minimum age is 13 years old, and all guests aged 13 and above are considered adults and charged accordingly.
Our villas are not designed for children’s safety (e.g., pools, stairs, facilities).
If guests arrive with children under 13 years old, check-in can only proceed if the registered guest signs a waiver releasing Moon Villas from any responsibility for the child’s safety.
If the waiver is not signed, check-in will be refused and the booking will be treated as a non-refundable cancellation.
🧹 Cleaning Service / Housekeeping

Regular Cleaning: Housekeeping service is provided every 3 days, which includes changing bed linens and towels.

Amenities: All amenities are provided upon check-in and are intended to last until your next scheduled cleaning.

Minimum Stay Requirement: A minimum stay of 4 nights is required to receive one housekeeping service. For shorter stays, no cleaning service is included.

Daily Cleaning Option: Daily housekeeping is available upon request for an additional fee, depending on your villa type.

Outside Services: Bringing in external cleaning staff during your stay is not permitted.

Pool Decoration / Third-Party Setup: Using third-party vendors for pool decorations or similar setups will incur an extra cleaning fee, depending on your villa type.

Extended Stays:
-
For guests who initially book one night and later extend, a full cleaning service is not provided automatically.

However, our team will restock your amenities (including towels, coffee, and toilet paper).

If the total stay duration meets or exceeds the minimum 4-night requirement, the cleaning service will then be scheduled accordingly.

Extra Guest or Visitor
Guest Limit: The number of guests must not exceed the maximum occupancy limit of your villa.
Additional Guests & Visitors: All visitors are required to present a valid ID before entry, for the safety of all guests at Moon Villas. Our team reserves the right to refuse entry if no ID is provided.
Extra Guest Fees: Any additional guests staying after 11:00 PM will be charged IDR 600,000 per person per night, or IDR 1,000,000 per person per night for Luna Mar Villa.
Events and Conduct
Parties, events, and gatherings are strictly prohibited on the property unless prior written approval has been granted by management.
Playing loud music, using DJ equipment, or hosting live performances of any kind is not permitted.
All visitors must leave the premises by 11:00 PM, unless they are registered as overnight guests.
The total number of guests must not exceed the maximum occupancy agreed upon at the time of booking. Exceeding this limit may result in additional charges or cancellation of the reservation.
Any violation of these rules may result in penalties, including additional fees, immediate eviction without refund, or withholding of the security deposit.
Guests are fully responsible for any damage or disturbance caused during their stay.
🚠Smoking Policy
To help us keep the villas fresh and comfortable for all guests:

Smoking, vaping, or similar activities (including hookah/shisha) are not permitted indoors, such as in bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, or living areas.

A minimum cleaning fee of IDR 2,000,000 will apply for each violation to cover deep cleaning and odor removal.

Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas where an ashtray is provided.
No pets
-
As much as we love animals, Moon Villas is not designed to be pet-friendly. Pets are not allowed in the villa. The registered guest is responsible for any violation, including if friends or visitors bring pets. A penalty of IDR 15,000,000 applies per violation.

Linens & Upholstery Care

We kindly ask for your cooperation in preserving the quality of our premium linens and upholstery. Stains caused by tattoos, hair dye, or food can be challenging to remove and damaging the fabrics. To help us maintain a comfortable stay and clean environment please follow these guidelines:

Tattoos: If you have a fresh tattoo, please use a double cover to avoid contact with our linens and furniture.

Hair Dye: Ensure your hair dye is fully dry before using our bedding or upholstery.
-
Food: Eating on the bed is strictly prohibited.
-

If any stains occur on our linens or upholstery, you will be charged for the replacement of the damaged items.
-
As an extra precaution, you may request 'used linens' from our staff to cover fresh linens or furniture if you have a fresh tattoo or recent hair dye treatment during your stay.
Breakage/Damage

The guest listed on the reservation is responsible for any damages, including those caused by their visitors.

Any repair costs will be deducted from the security deposit, and any amount exceeding the deposit must be covered by the guest. We kindly ask all guests to act responsibly during their stay.
Swimming Pool Rules
For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests at Moon Villas, we kindly ask you to follow these guidelines when using the swimming pool:

Respect Others: Maintain a respectful and considerate demeanor at all times.

Pool Towels: Please use the provided pool towels to prevent staining the sun loungers.
-
No Diving: For safety reasons, diving is strictly prohibited.
-
No Speakers: Keep the area peaceful by avoiding the use of speakers.
-
No Glassware: Use the plastic cups provided in your room for drinks at the pool area.
-
No Eating: Eating is not permitted in the pool area.
-
Floating Breakfast (shared Pool): A maximum time of 90 minutes is allowed for floating breakfast. If any food or utensils fall into the pool, please inform our staff immediately for proper cleanup.

Swimwear: Swimsuits, bikinis, and burqinis are permitted. Clothing (non-swimwear) and nudity are not allowed.

Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas only. Please be considerate of other guests' comfort and ensure that your smoking does not disrupt their experience.

Important: Discharge of fecal matter in the pool will incur a fine of 100,000,000 IDR (one hundred million rupiah).
Facilities and Services

We make every effort to accurately describe our facilities and services. However, please note that these may be subject to changes, upgrades, or temporary closures. We strongly encourage you to verify the availability of specific features or facilities before making a reservation.

Moon Villas Umalas assumes no responsibility for any inaccuracies, omissions, or modifications to our amenities. Furthermore, please be aware that not all listed amenities apply to every room type.
🔒 Valuables & Liability Policy

Personal Belongings: Guests are responsible for the safekeeping of all personal items, valuables, cash, merchandise, or vehicles brought into the villa, grounds, or parking area. We strongly recommend keeping all valuables inside the in-room safety box. Moon Villas Umalas accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage to any such items.

Release of Liability: By booking and staying with us, you agree to release Moon Villas Umalas, along with its owners, officers, employees, and agents, from any and all claims, damages, costs, or losses — including (but not limited to) economic losses, property damage, personal injury, or death — arising from or related to your reservation, stay, or use of our services.

Indemnity: You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Moon Villas Umalas and its representatives against any expenses, damages, or legal claims resulting from your stay, actions, or use of the property.

License to Stay: Your booking grants you a temporary license to occupy the villa for the agreed period. It does not create any tenancy, lease, or proprietary rights under Indonesian law. This license may be revoked at our discretion in the event of policy violations or unlawful conduct, and you may be asked to vacate without refund.
Photography, Videography and Drone Usage

Personal photos/videos with phones or handheld cameras are allowed for non-commercial use.

Any professional or commercial shoot (including influencer content, advertising, or shoots involving external crews, models, or equipment) requires written authorization at least 24 hours in advance.

A fee of IDR 2,000,000 per 2 hours applies to approved professional shoots.
-
Drone usage is only permitted with written approval and a signed agreement.
-
Unauthorized commercial photography or videography may result in immediate termination of the activity, additional charges, and/or eviction without refund.
📜 Acceptance of Terms

These terms and conditions are considered accepted upon confirmation and payment.
-
They apply throughout the entire stay and are non-negotiable once the stay begins.
-
Moon Villas reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.

The most recent version will always be available on our official website.

Updated Terms & Conditions apply to:
-
All new reservations made after the effective date of the update; and
-
Confirmed bookings where guests have been notified of the update prior to arrival.

Guests are encouraged to review the latest Terms & Conditions before check-in. Continued stay at the property constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
