Property Policies

The Moon Villas team warmly welcomes you and is honored by your interest in staying at one of our properties. We kindly ask that you treat the property with the same care and respect as you would in your own home.

Our House Rules, Terms, and Conditions are in place to ensure the safety, comfort, and harmony of all guests, as well as to maintain a positive relationship between guests and property management. If any of these policies do not align with your needs, we encourage you to reach out for clarification before booking or explore other accommodations that may better suit your preferences.

Checking In and Out

Check-In

After 15:00

Early check-in is subject to availability. It may require us to empty the villa on the previous day. Should you arrive earlier, you may drop off your luggage at the reception until your villa is ready.

Check-Out

Before 11:00

  • Late check-out is subject to availability and must be requested at least one day prior to your departure as it requires us to block the villa for the entire departure day.

  • Late check-outs without prior approval will incur a fee of Rp 500,000 per hour.

  • To ensure a more relaxed and stress-free departure, we recommend booking an additional night if you require a late check-out.

  • Room Keys: You must return the key for the room at the time of your departure and agree to pay a charge for replacement of keys you lose or fail to return same.

During Your Stay

Number of Guest

One-Bedroom Villa : max. 2 guests

Two-Bedroom Villa : max. 4 guests

The number of guests staying must adhere to the maximum limit permitted. Any additional guests will incur a charge of Rp 600,000 per person per night with no extra bed.

No Parties or Events

  • Parties or gatherings are strictly prohibited at our villa. Each villa may accommodate a maximum of two visitors, who must present valid identification upon arrival.

  • Visitors are required to leave the property by 11:00 PM. Failure to comply may result in the termination of your reservation without a refund, and access to the property will be restricted. Please note that unauthorized entry is a violation of the law and may lead to legal action.

No Smoking

Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited. You are only permitted to smoke on the terrace or balcony. Violators will be subject to fines.

No Children

Children or infants are not allowed to stay at Moon Villas Umalas. The minimum age for staying is 15 years old, and they are counted as adults. If you wish to stay with one child aged 15 years, you must book a two-bedroom villa.

No Pets

  • Guests and their visitors are strictly prohibited from bringing pets onto the property. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a peaceful and comfortable experience for all our guests.

  • A penalty of IDR 15,000,000 will be imposed for bringing pets onto the property. This fine must be paid immediately. Failure to comply will result in either an automatic deduction of the fine from your total booking amount or restricted access to the property until the penalty is settled.

Quiet Hours

11:00 PM - 6:00 AM

At Moon Villas Umalas, we value the comfort and relaxation of all our guests. Kindly observe our quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM to ensure a restful environment for everyone's enjoyment. 

Care for Linens and Upholstery

  1. We kindly ask for your cooperation in preserving the quality of our premium linens and upholstery. Stains caused by tattoos, hair dye, or food can be challenging to remove and damaging the fabrics. To help us maintain a comfortable stay and clean environment please follow these guidelines:

    • Tattoos: If you have a fresh tattoo, please use a double cover to avoid contact with our linens and furniture.

    • Hair Dye: Ensure your hair dye is fully dry before using our bedding or upholstery.

    • Food: Eating on the bed is strictly prohibited.

  2. If any stains occur on our linens or upholstery, you will be charged for the replacement of the damaged items.

  3. As an extra precaution, you may request 'used linens' from our staff to cover fresh linens or furniture if you have a fresh tattoo or recent hair dye treatment during your stay.

Breakage/Damage

The guest listed on the reservation is responsible for any damages, including those caused by their visitors. Any repair costs will be deducted from the security deposit, and any amount exceeding the deposit must be covered by the guest. We kindly ask all guests to act responsibly during their stay.

Swimming Pool Rules
Opening Hours:
6:00 AM - 10:00 PM

For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests at Moon Villas, we kindly ask you to follow these guidelines when using the swimming pool:

  • Respect Others: Maintain a respectful and considerate demeanor at all times.

  • Pool Towels: Please use the provided pool towels to prevent staining the sun loungers.

  • No Diving: For safety reasons, diving is strictly prohibited.

  • No Speakers: Keep the area peaceful by avoiding the use of speakers.

  • No Glassware: Use the plastic cups provided in your room for drinks at the pool area.

  • No Eating: Eating is not permitted in the pool area.

  • Floating Breakfast: A maximum time of 90 minutes is allowed for floating breakfast. If any food or utensils fall into the pool, please inform our staff immediately for proper cleanup.

  • Swimwear: Swimsuits, bikinis, and burqinis are permitted. Clothing (non-swimwear) and nudity are not allowed.

  • Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas only. Please be considerate of other guests' comfort and ensure that your smoking does not disrupt their experience.

Important:  Discharge of fecal matter in the pool will incur a fine of 100,000,000 IDR (one hundred million rupiah).
 

Terms and Conditions

Security Deposit

  1. Upon arrival, a security deposit of IDR1,000,000 or an equivalent amount in foreign currency is mandatory. Only cash is accepted for the deposit. Your deposit will be fully refunded in cash upon check-out, subject to room inspection. Check-in cannot proceed without payment of this deposit.

Facilities and Services

  1. We make every effort to accurately describe our facilities and services. However, please note that these may be subject to changes, upgrades, or temporary closures. We strongly encourage you to verify the availability of specific features or facilities before making a reservation.

  2. Moon Villas Umalas assumes no responsibility for any inaccuracies, omissions, or modifications to our amenities. Furthermore, please be aware that not all listed amenities apply to every room type.

Waivers and Protection

  1. Any personal belongings, valuables, merchandise, or vehicles brought onto the premises, including the room, grounds, or parking area, are solely your responsibility, and we shall not be held liable for their safekeeping.

  2. By utilizing our services, you agree to release and indemnify Moon Villas Umalas, as well as its current and former officers, employees, and agents, from any and all liabilities, expenses, costs, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgments, or losses of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to, consequential and economic losses, property damage or loss, and injury or death, arising from or related to your reservation, stay, or use of our services. Furthermore, you agree to indemnify Moon Villas Umalas and its officers, employees, and agents for any expenses or costs incurred as a result of any such liabilities, claims, actions, damages, or losses related to your reservation or stay.

  3. You acknowledge and agree that your occupancy in our hotel does not confer any tenancy or proprietary rights under any laws. Instead, we grant you a license to stay, which may be terminated at our discretion and at any time.

Photography or

Videography

  1. Any commercial or promotional activities, including photography and videography by professional teams or crews are not allowed. Prior authorization is required at least one day in advance for bringing professional teams or crews.

  2. Drone Use:  for privacy reasons, flying drones or similar devices is strictly prohibited within the Moon Villas area. For further details or special requests, please contact us in advance.

​Unauthorized activities will result in a penalty of IDR 10,000,000.00 per day.  Access to your room will be restricted if the penalty is not paid upon the incident.
